Do you really know who you share the city with? How can we best share the beautiful city that is Utrecht with each other? Town & Gown invites us on campus of University College Utrecht to explore the topic of ‘Sharing the city’ together. After sharing our thoughts, we will also be sharing food! Everyone is welcome!
Sharing the city
We share the city with each other in a lot of ways. Students, expats, long-time residents, newcomers, children, elders, and many others share roads, cycle lanes, parks, shops, housing spaces with each other. But how are these spaces shared? Who has access, who comes where and when? Do we know and get in contact with those we share the space with?
How do you experience sharing the city with others? In which places did you experience this most? When did it lead to contact with people out of your bubble? How would you like the city to be shared? We will explore these questions together during the dialogue.
