Educational worker for cultural foundation
Vacancy at Stichting Culturele Droomwevers
A cultural foundation requires assistance from an educational worker who can help us to create an inspiration guide (for children) which is based on our multimedia ABC of Wisdom.
The Stichting Droomwevers (Dreamweavers Foundation) does not have its own office. We work in a flexible workplace (sometimes in the library), at the home of one of the board members or in my own home.
Droomwevers is looking for people who have an affinity with language, music, culture and children's education and subscribe to the aims, mission and vision of the foundation.
An opportunity to create an exciting, unique and valuable project with 100 artists and writers, to weave dreams for children by means of sound and colour: music, poetry, illustration, film and other forms of art. Your name will also be stated in the guide and you will be given a copy of the book and CD/DVD when the project is finished.
We have developed materials which are easily accessible for both children and adults. We feel this is important in this age of spending cuts and cultural erosion. Through play and with a low barrier to entry, this will introduce them to culture, dance, language and different forms of art and music. After the basic introduction, our range will include various different levels to allow us to provide our target group with a cultural contribution for many years to come. These will be determined on a flexible basis by mutual consultation.
