Communications Officer

We are looking for a Communications Officer to work closely with our Social Media Officer to enhance and maintain a consistent and coherent brand voice across our various platforms, promote our work, and reach a broader audience.  

Responsibilities 

1. Website: update and/or build new pages, troubleshoot issues, make improvements 2. Design: create collateral for our projects and events (flyers as well as social graphics) 

3. Blog: collaborating with the team to draft, develop, upload, and promote our blogs 4. Content creation: lead on planning and creating promotional content for our work (i.e. attending our events, photography and/or videography, possibly interviewing participants, editing)  

Expected time commitment: around 2-4hrs per week, although this will depend on the timeline of our various work projects as well as the month of year

Your skills and experience 

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (plus ideally Dutch)

*we are an international team – other languages welcome 

2. Proactive and creative 

3. Interested in topics related to parenting and migration

4. Preferably some experience with website management
