SPEAK Event Organizer

SPEAK believes that integration is key. In other words, we want people to feel at home in the city they live in. One of the best ways to feel integrated is by speaking the language of the country we live in and also meeting new people. How ? Through events !

Besides the language courses, at SPEAK, we organize on a regular basis events. What type of events you may wonder ?

We divided them into four categories :

1) SPEAK Diversity and Inclusion

In Jamaïca, the motto is : "Out of many, one people !" This says it all ! We started to organize a serie of events called "points of view" in which people share their... points of view about concept and societal themes. Everyone is welcome to share in a safe environment without being judged by anyone.

We also organized an event interviewing refugees who wanted to share their stories.

2) SPEAK Culture

At SPEAK, Culture is key. We believe that the more you exchange and interact among cultures, the more you blend. We already organized movie screening with around the tables talks afterwards, pub quizzs, attend a music event, treasure hunts focused on cultures,... No limit once again !

3) SPEAK Health

We believe that feeling good with ourselves is key to be good to others. Therefore, we organize this SPEAK Health events. It can be from a stretching session to a meditation moment passing by a sport activity. There is no boundaries ! We would love to hear your ideas !

3) SPEAK Fun

SPEAK believes that living in a city also means having fun. It can be by organizing a tour to visit a place, having some drinks, go out. Once again, the sky is the limit and suggestions are more than welcome !

As a SPEAK Event (co)-organizer / Ambassador, you will be helping us out organizing or co-organizing events with us. We will be happy to exchange events' ideas together with you.
